I love the puzzle of design and breathing life into a home. Whew, it's beyond rewarding.
Born and raised in the heart of the Midwest amidst acres upon acres of farmland, my humble beginnings produced a creative spirit and strong work ethic that unfolded a unique and rewarding career in branding + design.
I spent the first 12 years of my career as a brand marketing nerd managing multi-million dollar brands' product life cycles, redesigns, consumer research and innovation launches. In parallel, I designed and executed mid to large-tier renovation projects in the Phoenix and Denver markets that I still swoon over.
Bundling my skill set, work ethic, and deep passion for interior design, I am thrilled to introduce you to Helen Clare Design.
We are a Colorado based boutique interior design firm that originated in 2016. Our goal is to deliver unique, refined interior design refresh and renovation projects to each of our clients.
Our Name
Our name, Helen Clare Design, is inspired by my grandmother.
After getting married in 2016 and vastly more sentimental in my older years, I reflected back on what name would have significance to me and best represent my work. My grandmother, Helen Clare Russell, was my answer. She was a spirited, hard working woman that had a way of bringing energy and light to every room despite her hardships. I mean, she wore hats in her pajamas! That very zest and integrity is my mission for each project I get the opportunity to touch.
